Build the light the industry works by.

Who we are

A manufacturer, not a reseller.

Moss LED Inc. designs, builds, and distributes LED lighting for film, television, commercial, and industrial applications — FlexLED, OmniFlex 360, ML14 Panel FlexLED, LiteStix, and the controllers and drivers that run them. We handle off-the-shelf orders and fully custom builds from the same shop floor, which means the work here is real and the feedback loop is short.

Our core values

01

Accountable

We own it, fix it & learn from it. Every mistake is an opportunity to improve — no excuses, just solutions.

02

Creative

We are proud to create innovative products and solutions that move the industry forward.

03

Excellence

We don’t settle. We go above and beyond to consistently exceed our clients’ expectations in everything we do.

04

Collaborative

Less me, more of us. We succeed and fail as a team. Together we are stronger than any individual.

05

Learners

We work in cohesion to learn from each other — both internally and externally. We share knowledge across teams and with the broader industry community to grow together. A team that keeps learning never stops improving.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting function end to end — full-cycle accounts receivable, full-cycle accounts payable, and the month-end close that ties them together.

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing business, so inventory, work-in-progress, and landed cost are part of the daily conversation. You will work directly with Sales, Purchasing, and Production, and report to ownership. If you want to be one of several people in a large finance department, this is not that job. If you want to own the numbers for a company that actually builds things, it is.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable — Issue customer invoices, apply payments, manage the aging and collections, set and monitor credit terms, and resolve billing discrepancies with the sales team.
  • Accounts Payable — Process vendor bills, three-way match against purchase orders and receipts, prepare payment runs, handle foreign-currency purchases from global suppliers, and maintain vendor records.
  • Month-End Close — Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank, credit card, and inter-account balances, post accruals and prepaids, and close on schedule.
  • Inventory & Cost Accounting — Support inventory valuation, work-in-progress and finished-goods costing, landed-cost allocation, and variance review with the production team.
  • Compliance & Remittances — Prepare HST/GST filings, WSIB and other statutory remittances, and support payroll processing.
  • Reporting — Produce monthly financial statements, cash-flow forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis for ownership.
  • Audit & Year-End — Prepare working papers and act as the point of contact for our external accountants.
  • Controls — Maintain and improve documented accounting procedures across A/R, A/P, and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Experience — 5+ years of full-cycle accounting, including hands-on ownership of both A/R and A/P.
  • Designation — CPA, or actively enrolled in the CPA program, is an asset.
  • Industry — Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-carrying business is a strong asset.
  • Systems — Working knowledge of ERP and accounting platforms; experience with QuickBooks Online and an inventory/ERP system such as Cin7 is an asset.
  • Excel — Advanced: pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation modelling.
  • Regulatory knowledge — Familiarity with Canadian tax and payroll requirements (HST, source deductions, WSIB).
  • Mindset — Accurate, organized, and comfortable owning deadlines without being chased. Discreet with confidential financial and personnel information.
  • Education — College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Sales & Purchasing Coordinator to serve as the operational hub and support to our sales team. This is a hybrid role that combines high-level sales support with critical procurement responsibilities. You will make sure our sales reps have what they need to close deals, and that our warehouse has the technical components required to build them.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement — Manage end-to-end order entry, prepare professional quotes, and act as a technical point of contact for clients regarding product availability.
  • Strategic Purchasing — Generate and track purchase orders for LED tape, dimmers, and custom components from local and global vendors.
  • Inventory Oversight — Monitor stock levels in real time to prevent project delays, and coordinate with the warehouse team on incoming shipments.
  • Project Coordination — Act as the liaison between Sales, Production, and Finance so custom orders meet tight film-industry deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience — 2+ years in sales coordination, procurement, or a technical support role.
  • Technical savvy — Comfort working with electrical components or LED technology; film/TV industry experience is a major asset.
  • Software skills — Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Mindset — A self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Education — Secondary school required; college diploma or university degree in business administration or similar preferred.
  • Commute — Able to reliably commute to Mississauga, ON L4W 1A2, or relocate before starting.
